With the huge growth in smartphones and tablets it is time for our campus map to go responsive. We have embarked on a project with our partner New City Media to replace our Flash based campus map with a new responsive maps based upon HTML5 and CSS3. Here are some screen shot previews:

Our new Fat Footer went live yesterday afternoon. Check it out at http://www.roanoke.edu. I think it is a huge improvement, and has several features that I have wanted to implement for long time.

We just launched a new look on the homepage by replacing our large image/flash area with a new video flash piece. I’m really pleased with the way it turned out. The concept and design was done in house and then our friends at New City helped us with some tweaks and built it for us. [...]

We are hard at work coming up with great new ideas for Maroons Online. Our concept is to make user profiles the centerpiece, and allow users to search and view other Alumni’s profiles.
