With the huge growth in smartphones and tablets it is time for our campus map to go responsive. We have embarked on a project with our partner New City Media to replace our Flash based campus map with a new responsive maps based upon HTML5 and CSS3. Here are some screen shot previews:

We officially launched the new mobile website that is optimized for webkit based mobile devices like the iPhone/iPod Touch, Android and Palm Pre/Pixi. Access the site by going to: i.roanoke.edu New City from Blacksburg, Virginia designed the site and my team of crack student programmers hooked up the backend with some coldfusion and javascript code. 2010 is going to be a big year for the Roanoke College mobile strategy.
