We are hard at work coming up with great new ideas for Maroons Online. Our concept is to make user profiles the centerpiece, and allow users to search and view other Alumni’s profiles. We are also planning to use Facebook Connect for login, so users can post information from Maroons Online back to Facebook.
Connections
We would auto-populate a random group of connected alums, based upon, interest, exta-curricular activities, geographic location, major, class year, etc.
Kudos
Will be a great way for alums to display their involvement with Roanoke.
Updates
Alums will be able to post an infinite number of updates (that can be cross-posted to Facebook via Facebook Connect). Also, you can post photo gallery links from Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, WebShots, etc.
Privacy
Alums will have fine grain control of what other users can see.
